This day started really, REALLY early. We met our caravan of home-schoolers and Girl Scouts at 5:45am on this cold, but beautiful morning. All 28 of us headed out towards the Clear Crystal Mine in Lagrange, Georgia.

We arrived at our meeting place, bought snacks and used the "indoor facilities" one last time before heading to the mine.

We brought the truck around while everyone else walked over.

When everyone arrived at the truck, we handed out equipment and headed down the road.
