Hi!! Just wanted to say "Congratulations"!! on the new Message Board!! Didn't think this site could get any better, but this is a great addition!! I live on FL, but have been in Western NY for awhile now... Went out looking for trilobites today... didn't find any, but did find quite a few tiny fossils, and one about 1 1/2" that looks like it might be an oyster... I've got to get my hands on a couple of good books so I can learn what it I am finding!! I want to thank you both so much for sharing your adventures and talents!! I can't tell you how much I've appreciated getting to 'know' you... You guys are largely responsible for getting me back into doing something that I really enjoyed doing when I was a kid... Thanks for adding to my life!! You guys ROCK!! (no pun..., well, MAYBE the pun was intended... lol!!)

Hey, Thanks Michelle for the great feedback!! I'm excited that we've inspired you to jump back into such a fun hobby. Sounds like you had some fossil fun today. You'll probably end up being a " fossil Head " like us. Maybe we can all meet up sometime and dig together! Let me know if you find any trilobites. We have a heads up on a possible location here in the south. We'll see what happens!
Michelle, Glad to have you on BOARD (hehe I like puns, too!) Sounds like your childhood rockhounding has come out of remission and you are getting a full-blown case of it. Mine was adult onset. I am excited about your finds today. Sounds like you had a great time. Maybe next time you will find the elusive trilobyte. We hope to find some soon, too. We will let you know how it goes. Monte
