Hey Michelle FL-NY, - I've got a great fossil identification book that I thought you might be interested in. It features quite a few species of trilobites. It is full color with over 300 pages. You can probably find it on eBay. Also, I have gotten some very good deals on half.com. It is called : Fossils - The visual guide to more than 500 species of fossils from around the world. Authors : Cyril Walker and David Ward This book is in a series called Eyewitness Handbooks. They also publish a book on rocks and minerals. By the way - I have kind of an update to our Fossil Frenzy report. Most of the fossils that we collected,I haven't even had time to look at again. However, late yesterday I looked through a few that were in some bags labeled by site location. I actually found the guard of a squid called a Neohibolite from the Createous Period. Who knows what other surprises I have waiting in all those bags!
Michelle, I know I was there when you collected all of these fossils, but I don't remember seeing that!!! I can't wait to see what it looks like. Maybe we can get a photo of it and put it on the Fossil Frenzy Photo Album. I haven't even gone through my bags yet. They are still in my bucket. Monte
