Diamond Hill Report
1-27-07

We were privileged to be invited to the Diamond Hill Mine in Antreville, South Carolina. Jim Olson, the founder of NG Rocks, had recently converted the NG Rocks Yahoo group over to a professional message board. We signed up and soon posted a thread asking if anyone was going to be out digging on January 27th. We wanted to go on a dig to celebrate the one year birthday of Rocks and Lace. Before we knew it, Jim replied that he was going to be at Diamond Hill Mine and we were welcome to come along. So we called the Latimer Inn and reserved our room, and set everything in order for our trip.

We left early Friday morning and headed on over to South Carolina. We wanted to drive around and check out the road cuts in the area. Along the way, we saw some really old houses and buildings.
