We couldn't look for long, though. We had to get back and get ready to go to a cookout at Lynn's Uncle Tony's house. When we got there, we were shown some of the Indian artifacts that had been discovered on the property.

We also got our first close-up look at what was in the pictures we had been drooling over. This was one HUGE Log of Mississippi Petrified/Silicified Wood!!

Some of this wood is covered in a frosty layer of sand-sized up to almost b-b sized quartz crystals.

We were up with the sun and ready for fun the next morning. The first thing we did was to meet some of the residents of the farm.

We got up close and personal with them.
